Maybe the S&M Remix ended up affecting the original version and total sales... i'm pretty sure the original would be top 10 now if it wasn't for the remix... now both are falling...

The remix gave it the #1 but I think it ultimately stalled the sales potential.
It's still #6 or so combined but it's gonna fall faster than it would have otherwise.
Single ladies did well on itunes tho, it was no1 for like 2 weeks and sold over 4m so if it was urban you are contridicting yourself saying that urban singles do not do well.
