Inception by far.

Avatar was great but I could see the major plot points coming from a mile away.

Inception was really good and had a better plot, but I picked Avatar because there's going to be two more movies.

Why? Both movies got an insane amount of hype. I don't think either was more hyped than the other.
Avatar was just highly overrated plot wise. All it had were visuals. And after 3 hours, it gets old.

Uh, no it wouldn't. Anyone who paid ANY attention to Avatar would see that it was a very mediocre movie.

I can't even finish watching Avatar. I don't know but it just doesn't interest me.

Inception has depth, and the story is really fascinating. I think even Shutter Island is better than Avatar.

Inception isn't as brilliant and genius a movie as everyone makes it out to be, but it IS better than Avatar. Though watching Avatar in 3D is a one of a kind experience.
