I think it would have had a better shot though. 6 days of sales would give it more of a fair shot than just 2. That, and a lot of radio stations were planning on playing the song a whole lot but an unexpected rush-release stopped that from happening it seems.

There were only a few radio stations planning on playing it on the hour really... I think the few that did gave the impression that many would. I think what the song has achieved so far is amazing, she just needs to promote it. I maintain my opinion that she made a huge mistake extending the Monster Ball...

I think it is too early to have doubts like that, though. I mean the song has only been out for 4 days. Give her time to promote and for AI to pick up, I think she could eventually contend.

Well, we can always wait and see what happens, but it is far too early to draw conclusions in my opinion. I say wait until the video comes out and till she does a few performances of the song. That'll let us gauge interest and popularity.

It's rough, but she would had a fair shot if she had a longer time frame.

But I agree with extending the MB. She should be solely focusing on her singles + album right now instead of a tour that's gone on for years. Luckily she'll be doing a lot of promo for the album.


I don't doubt it... I just don't think it'll happen as soon as we expect it. She's doing a lot of promo for the album, and I'm sure Judas will be the one she'll be performing (hopefully). And if things play out correctly, the video should be out around the same time, which will help it more.

The #1 debut isn't important on the long run several weeks at #1, amazing sales and longevity r more important to a performance of a single. Once the promo starts and video cums out she will be unstoppable. Bey will be the only one to fight her for the #1 spot then.
