Britney didn't deliver because it wasn't Britney's wise idea to include dubstep, and she's not "bringing it" in her performances or werking it in the videos. I personally hate dubstep and hope a trend hasn't started, but I do love that 20 second bit in HIAM

EDIT: Dubstep has been increasingly popular in the rave-communities, it was only a matter of time before it hit mainstream. She didn't invent the dubstep sub-genre

You know, this is funny. I don't really that think dubstep is even a central fixture of rave-communities and the type of dubstep on Femme Fatale certainly isn't the classic dubstep either.

To be honest, I feel like dubstep is mainly associated with electronic ambient-sounding music, really dark, depressing albums with few vocals. At least the most well-known dubstep albums seem to be.

Some of her stans really act like she did, I just can't.

As for the question, I'm not in love with either song, but I'm going with Judas for now. Girls just doesn't sit well with me melodically.

At the end of the day it is Britney's name on the song is it not? Anything else is secondary. It's her material. Thus she bears the credit. She brought it to the forefront of pop music and she was the one who thought enough of it to put the song on her album and push the song forward as a single. The rest is semantics.

I cant believe im not siding with my baby mama on this one, but Judas is just really good and Girls is not up to par with what I thought Beyonce was gonna bring for her 1st single. I mean noone else could make Judas their own except GaG, and I was hoping Beyonce would give me something of that same effect but no! anyone can take that song and make it just as catchy. im over this and already anticipating the 2nd single. Mind you, GaGa's 1st single was just as much a disappointment for me as Bey's 1st was though.

All in all, Femme Fatale is an excellent & entertaining pop album, way better than anyone would have expected it to be.



As for the poll, I don't like any of these songs.
It's weird because I "should" like Judas since it's basically Poker Face v3.0 and that was one of the best song of 2009 for me... I don't know the basic formula is not working anymore, I guess.
