Movies don't sell the way they used to. Most of the movies released this year opened with 10-15 mill. Only a select few have gone above the 25 mill range. Scream 4 could've gotten released last week and been #1.
Opening with 20 million for a 3rd sequel, especially considering the previous was released 11 years ago is not bad at all.
Saw 6 opened with only 14 mill, and only grosses a total of 27 mill domestically all together. And that still warranted another sequel. I'm not too worried.

Like i said "near" flop. all the perdiction think it will pull a at least 30 million to 50million first weekend.
and 19 million is not even good sign for any horror movies. they usually have big drop second week. and not to mention Scream is a "franchise". therefore, there will be a first week rush, and harsher second week drop.
