It takes a special kind of book character to delight readers continually for generations. But that is exactly what Arthur, the lovable aardvark in more than 80 books, has done. This year, Arthur turns 35, and parents and grandparents find his life and adventures as refreshing and poignant for their own children as when read years ago.
I loved this show and still do. Arthur's recent seasons may have lost a step or two, but it's still better than most of the so-called live action on Nickelodeon and "Cartoon" Network.
