Like 28 Days Later, Day of the Dead, Carriers and all that... Do you guys think you can kill the ones you love if they were infected (with a virus that turns them into zombies/they go around killing people)?
During the opening of 28 Weeks Later, spoilers ahead:
the husband was running away from the zombies, and he turns around when he sees his wife screaming for his help and son stuck in the house inside still. He doesn't think twice about saving his wife/son, he just continues to run away. (You can see the one minute scene here) And in Carriers,
a group of friends (all healthy, not infected) were driving to find some where safe. They stumble across a man with a young daughter, the girlfriend helps, the daughter sneezed on her and she gets infected. The boyfriend tells her to get out of the car and leaves her stranded.
Anyway, if you were with a group of people and were one of the last people on the earth that was not infected and you found out your husband/wife, children, or parents were infected, would you kill them from risking yourself getting infected? (If you say no would your answer change if they said they wanted you to kill them?) Or would you stay... and get infected with them (and die)?
Post your answers!

Also there is NO cure! So please don't try to twist the question around "There will be a cure, so I'll stay with them". That just defeats the purpose of the question
