I prefer to say "No, I've never broken a bone... They were broken for me." I was involved in an accident in June of 2005 in which a woman hit me with her car while I was on my bike. She wasn't going fast, but I was knocked off my bike and my foot hit the ground with enough force to break two toes. I had to get minor surgery and have pins placed to keep the bones from moving while they healed... To this day those two toes aren't 100% straight. So my short answer is: Yes.

I still have the official x-ray :] Lmao.

Ugh, Yes. Do you guys remember those shoes that had the skates on them that every kid wanted? I cant really remember the name for them, I just remember I bust my ass & fractured the hell out of my ankle trying to look cute for the next door neighbor. Never again,

Lol, they gave me a CD and I thought it was cool at the time. Pictures are worth 1,000 words, after all. Haha. As for the pain, it wasn't really as painful as I'd imagined it would be. I couldn't walk on my foot, but I didn't know they were actually broken (nor did the Doctor) until the xrays were taken. :] Toes aren't the most painful thing to break. The most annoying part was wearing the cast for 6 weeks... and the accident happened on the first day of summer after my Junior year of High School... By the time I got the cast off my leg was really dry, thin, and couldn't support my weight. I had to re-learn how to walk, all just before leaving to China for a year for Study Abroad. It was crazy, but I accomplished it :]
