Digimon had better plot, characters and more meaningful story overall. Although I was only there for Mimi and Lilymon.

Digimon did manage to be OK after their first seasons, which Pokemon didn't manage to do, but in the earlier seasons Pokemon was too epic, Pokemon is more iconic and impacted me most, plus the games >>>>>.
