Yes. It only debuted with like 172,000 back in 1997, but it had amazing longevity and logged in something like 62 weeks selling over 100,000 (peaking with 355,000 copies sold the Christmas week
two years after its initial release).
It was the best-selling album period since Soundscan started tracking back in 1991 until it was recently overtaken by Metallica. And it broke out of the local stigma that country usually has by selling amazingly overseas, too.
