I don't care if they are not topping the charts or whatever, I love their music and their bravery to go through all the stuffs with the management and the fake lesbian stuff at the beginning of their careers. When Waste Management Trandescent version came out I jammed the whole thing for weeks :heart: The separation is predictable though, they've not been together for ages... Hope for them all the best
One Hit Wonder ? Not Gonna Get Us peaked at the top 40 and they released 6 studio albums (Not including the remixes) and managed to stay relevant throughout most of their career
Someone else just said they pretty much flopped outside of Russia...meaning they didn't exactly stay relevant...2 songs in the top 40 don't make you relevant over the course of 6 albums.
Doesn't mean they were bad, lots of great artists flop.
Like Bea, I didn't know they were still going either. I know three of their songs only and never heard from them since their debut. I live in America, but I guess they were known more in other places then. None of those 5 or 6 albums did anything here.
This is so sad. I loved t.A.T.u. so much. Not Gonna Get Us, All The Things She Said, Gomenasai and All About US are epic songs
