Bieber is more successful. Not better.
A lot of you will be eating your words soon. The promo campaign has already started. He's radio Disney's breakout artist of 2011, he's appearing on Sonny With a Chance, and he's part of this year's Wango Tango lineup. His team actually knows how to go about promoting him, unlike some other new artists flop management (coughSky Ferreiracough) so I have no doubt that his first US single will get a proper radio push and will be a hit.

Success in pop is 10% quality and 90% politics, money, and luck anyway. The same girls who will only listen to the "elite" pop stars are the same ones who blame the labels when their fave flops... Go figure.
