Though Jordin's version is better than Selena's I'm glad she didn't get it. I wonder what happened that "rubbed her the wrong way".

I'm guessing that Jordin and/or her label turned it down. If you've heard the snippet of Jordin's possible new single "I Am Woman", it's a more mature, dance song. I think it's obvious that both Jordin and her label want to reinvent her; she's stuck in this young, Disney-like image, and that's not where she should be.

Emanuel and Jordin are pretty good friends, I would hope he didnt do that to her.

Agreed. No offense to Disney or anything, but Hollywood doesn't seem too interested in making hit albums or singles. They know whatever they release through Selena, specifically, will earn enough sales to satisfy them. It's not like they're actually interested in making superstars :-/

If they're referring to Rihanna's "Complicated", then I'm guessing that Rihanna got it instead of Jordin?
