Pixie Lott has revealed that she has arranged some big-name collaborations for her second album.
The 'Cry Me Out' singer told Digital Spy on the orange carpet of this year's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards that she has been working hard on the follow-up to 2009's Turn It Up and that her sound has developed.
"Writing the album is going pretty well," she said. "I've just been in the studio every day and I'm just determined to make sure you guys like it.
"It's still pop stuff, but maybe a little more soulful. That's the kind of thing that I'm into. That influence is stronger on this album.
"There are a couple of really cool collaborations on the album and I've already worked with some big people, but I can't say who they are just in case those tracks don't make the final cut. But I can say that they are really, really exciting."
The Wanted have previously expressed interest in a duet with Lott.

Soulful Pixie is the best, it really suites her
But I hope this doesn't mean a ballad or midtempo for a first single
I would love her to collaborate with someone like Tinie Tempah or Example, I think they could come up with something good together. Although its reeeeeeally unlikely, but a Rihanna collab would do wonders for her, they've been spotted together a couple of times.
BUT, their voices wouldn't go together imo.
Production wise, i dont want her to go down the typical guetta/redone route
But if she releases a ballad as the first single I am hunting her down.
