Yeah, I agree it broke many records, but I wonder if the producer really has a lot to do behind the success.
Even if Born This Way wasn't produced by Fernando, I think the success would have been almost similar. That is because of the huge hype but mostly because it was the first single to be exclusively released on iTunes since Bad Romance (Alejandro and Telephone were on the album so couldn't have a first week sales).
She's grown so much in popularity since BR, so it's normal that the first single of this era smashes so hard. Now, as it was said, we'll see if Judas produced by RedOne can have the same success
