Great show. Funny, smart and proudly mainstream, unlike the overrated and try-hard 30 Rock and The Office.

Moden Family and The Office, along with Law and Order SVU are the only shows my DVR is set to record.... But seriously, how can anyone not like The Office? That show is amazing!

Why are people so sure the opening song is by Fernando? I was under the impression it was RedOne, especially because as soon as the OOh-ooh's kick in, the melody / beat progression is vaguely reminiscent of Poker Face. Seriously, listen to it.

DITD is all in quality, but I have to admit I don't usually listen to it a lot. But when it comes on radio or at the MB, it's always so good. It's not the catchy type of song that you want to listen again and again, unlike RedOne's songs.
RedOne's songs are still my favorite Gaga's songs without a doubt. I'm pretty sure Judas will be one of my fave song from this album, more than BTW.

No, i think dj white shadow did Government Hooker. He is truly talented to make that masterpiece.
him and Fernando >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>redone
I tend to second guess redone all the time i did it with love game, pokerface, pap, and Bad romance

A good indicator would be Rebecca Black's Friday, it debuted at #72 with 37,000 downloads and close to zero airplay. I guess a song needs about 25-30 points to have a shot at entering the Hot 100.

So I was reading the ONTD comment section for GGV 41 - this really turned a lot of people around actually. 99% of the comments were positive (including Brit stans).
Interesting...

Yes he did
Remember the MTV article?

Shadow recalled how the song came together — and let's just say what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay there. "We were in this studio in Vegas, and I was playing some hip-hop stuff [for Gaga's label boss Vince Herbert], and I ran across this [old beat I had made], and we were talking about faster songs, so I sped it up and I played it for Vince."
It seems the new version of the beat, which Shadow had worked on with DJ Snake ages before he played it in that Vegas studio, was the magic that Herbert was looking for. "He was like, 'Whoa.' She walked in, and I played it for her and [producer] Fernando [Garibay]. She laid it out in two seconds. She sang over the melody and tuned it up and put the chorus in. She finished it super quick."
There's a Euro-sounding robot on the track, which comes courtesy of someone in Gaga's inner circle. "The guy that's actually talking, that's her security guard," White Shadow revealed. "We were sitting there thinking how to make a computerized voice, so we were like, 'Let's get Pete in here.' He's got a super-thick Dutch accent, and he's trying to read off paper. It was insane, and he just talks like that. That's what it's like working with Gaga. It's like a f---ing supernova. When she walks into a room, things explode."
The lyrics, White Shadow said, were written right there on the spot. "She thinks of sh-- that I can't comprehend," he said. "It doesn't make sense to me, and I'm a creative person."
A credit to her charm and smarts, Shadow summed Gaga up like this: "Working with her is totally different than anyone else I've ever done anything with. She's the most hands-on person I've ever run into. She could walk into Steve Jobs' office and tell him he's doing Apple wrong, and he'd listen. As a producer, it's super cool to be with somebody who generally cares and is fully involved."

I agree i dont listen to it much but it is one of my fav. I just hope this time he can give us another DITD but more catchy and dance able but yet still powerful. and Just Dance and Alejandro are the only redone songs i enjoyed on the first listen and still love them
And i think BTW will b everyone least liked song on the album :scary:

The biggest grower from RedOne was definitely Bad Romance. I think it's pretty much the same for most of us. First listen of the demo was ok, then I prefered the demo over the original when it was released. Finally, the video slayed us and it became my favorite Gaga's song and still is
I don't know if I'll like Judas from the first listen. That's what I'm afraid I loved Born This Way first listen, so I dunno!

The next few weeks until the album drops will be so exciting!
Judas, Glee, Judas MV, a lot of performance fo Judas, HBO,
2nd video for BTW? etc etc.
Been a long time since we haven't had so many things to look foward to.
