I remember the day I went out and bought it, I've never been so happy to purchase an album, before or since. Even though looking back, Hilary was really not a good singer or performer, the songs on the album still give me life to this day.

I agree.
Though for the singing, I think she is a pretty decent singer. She has a different voice that can go from bubbly/happy/sweet ('Between You & Me', 'Dreamer') and straight to raspy/deep ('I Wish', 'Stranger', 'Happy') and can even emulate dark/brooding ('Any Other Day', 'Gypsy Woman'). So while she may not have the worlds most amazing voice, she works the hell out of what she has. And it's gotten better as she's matured.
As for the performing, I love watching her perform but I really wanna see her let loose more. She does it during her club concerts and tours more than anywhere else which is why I like watching those.
