Cahleb, this EP alone has sold ~1.5M in the US, more than most major pop LPs manage nowadays.

uhm i don't care about BAD excuses, i do care about her album sales, i find it very interesting
how has britney been through the same hell as chris? don't think so. i'm just saying britney sold just a bit more than an artist who was supposed to be DEAD when it comes to his carreer, i'm happy for her that she got another #1 album etc. etc. but really the excuses i'm seeing are just funny to me.

While I prefer CB over brit, I think she'll outsell him in the long run. Have u seeen CB's predicted 2nd week (I'm gonna guess 50k)? Regardless this is quite a drop since last week's almost 300k. I think both albums will struggle for platinum, but if I had to pick one, I'd say brit will reach it first

While she isn't selling amazingly for an album that spawned two number 1's and a top three...sales are far from AWFUL especially given the state of current album sales. I could see Loud doing 2 mil if promoted properly but I would be happy with 1.5 mil, and she'll definitely reach that mark

she will. without all those hit singles. the 400 million combined AI.
Britney doesn't fail to go platinum.
even Blackout is like 3,000 copies away and that album had NOTHING.
