The real Cher – the one who already has a smash hit career under her belt – asked on twitter: “Who or What is Cher Lloyd?”
Not a very smart move from the iconic star as she was soon hit with a barrage of abuse from fans of the 17-year-old, including one who said: “There is only one amazing Cher and that is Cher Lloyd!”
Poor older Cher must have nipped off and done a Google to discover that Cher Lloyd was in fact a talented runner up on last-years X Factor, because she later tweeted: “OK, got Cher Lloyd, i guess i live in a cave. No disrespect meant.”
After that angry response, i think we can safely assume that big Cher won’t be forgetting teeny rapper Cher Lloyd in a hurry.

No, I didn't. I am very aware that she made a huge splash on X-Factor and that she has had and still has a good hype around her. But I also pointed out that nobody can blame CHER for not knowing who Cher Lloyd is.
Cher Lloyd is nobody. She was on a casting show and she did great. But she still has to release anything and prove herself.
She is not a nobody, she has had more hype than any of the other acts and big things are expected from her. She is working with RedOne; who is his main priority and Will.i.am and her lead single comes out soon.
She will never be as big as Cher but Cher Loyd, can go far. When we have her album, then you can start slagging her off. Until then, it would be nice if you didn't rip her to shreds so quickly.

I will recognize her if she releases a good single and album. Until then she is a much hyped, interesting casting show contestant. And that's NOT hating or anything.
im not saying people care about trending topics, im saying how can you not know who she is when she is in your face? with good backing from several celebrities, not just music artists.
