I didn't say it will be the death of this era, but it very well could be. You obviously don't know how Death Jam operates.
They were ready to can the Rated R era after Hard "underperformed" by only peaking at #8. They released Rude Boy as a last ditch and final effort and it was only when it exceeded their expectations by miles did they decide to release a 4th single. I've said it a million times in this thread. All it takes is ONE underperforming release to cause Death Jam to pull the plug.
I never once said Man Down would flop. What I said it that it's a RISK - which it is. And in the 4th single of the Loud era, and with how DJ operates, we cannot afford a risk right now. CKB is a hell of a lot more likely to smash, so it should be released now.
What i'm mad about is that CKB has 2 huge promotions coming up and they are even CONSIDERING rendering them pointless. What the **** good does a award show performance and national campaign do when the song isn't even being released. It's a joke and a mess.
