Teenage Dream was huge because it was a sweet love song with still a summer feeling and it was great and honestly this is my favorite track on the entire album and one of my favorite songs of all time if not my favorite.
Firework was a huge success with such a great meaning and who hasnt heard it a million times on the radio. Everybody loves this song and its almost impossible to overplay it, it seems. So fun to just sing to as well
E.T. is a new feeling that everybody loves and was an easily predictable hit when the demo leaked. Everybody has loved this song since demo day 1 and I see this one going as far if not farther than all the rest of the singles so this one has a lot.
Next Last Friday Night needs to be released because it would be an obvious hit already with no promo it has some radio play and everybody loves it for its fun lyrics and meaning. A sure to be hit to tie that MJ record
I beleive finally Peacock should be the last single with an I Kissed A Girl effect that stimulates talk and attention to the song shooting it to number 1. The playful meaning and infectious beat will no doubt have everybody singing along no matter how much of a guilty pleasure it may be for the world.

Firework is overplayed a lot. It's just annoying and everyone I know can't hear that song anymore.
That's why I'm happy that they're releasing E.T. now. It's a different vibe than her other songs and will perform very well in the US. We still have to see about WW success.

Bad Romance actually outsold Alejandro by the end of the year...btw I KNOW your speaking summer anthem...but majority of CG's sales came from the summer. It spent 8 weeks @ #1 on the world charts over the summer b4 being taken over by LTWYL (alejandro never saw #1)

Funnily enough, Alejandro has been perceived as the WW summer song of 2010 by a lot of people. The song instantly brought up the snowy setting that the video possesses in my head, but apparently everyone else in the world thought it was a summer song. But it is and was perceived as such.

Alejandro was huge in a lot of European and South American markets. Way more than California Gurls. Cali Gurls was def. the UKs and US summer anthem though, but not in the other markets.

California Girls was 14 in Europes year end chart even though Cali Gurls got significantly more support in the UK
