LOL. It just bothers me that Black folks are always complaining about stereotypes yet Black producers insist on making movies that promote them. Why can't there be normal movies out there whether they be action, comedy, horror, etc. but not have them emphasize Black stereotypes so much?

I think as America becomes more diverse Blacks will break into the industry soon.

Because white America will never tire of seeing a pale-faced blonde getting chased, courted, or killed.
Blacks only serve as comedic foil, the kooky sidekick, or the helpless and downtrodden when it comes to 99% of white produced film.

I am content with what Tyler Perry makes. It's the people who don't actually watch his movies that say they are similar. They all have a take on very different, yet realistic themes that are very relevant in our community. And that's why our community appreciates them.

I'm looking forward to Madea, not the rest.
