I'm going to go out on a limb and say that (IMHO) Fire Bomb is the best song Rihanna has ever recorded. The fact that it wasn't released directly after Rude Boy's #1 reign will go down as one of the biggest mistakes she's ever made. (Hell, it could have smashed as a first single instead of Russian Roulette. It would have perfectly represented all that Rated R was.)
Biggest travesty in music. I still listen to this song all the time... as in I never stopped and even listened to it earlier today.
I too have thought (and hope she and her label have as well) about the possibility of pulling a Radar, and releasing it as a single on the next album. This song absolutely deserves to be heard by the world.
I still put Fire Bomb on Rihpeat sometimes.
