today we finished fiddling with one song and broke the back of another, i’ve never been in a studio solely focusing on production before i’ve always done it along with the writing, its really exciting and very liberating (plus you don’t feel guilty about mucking around finding synth sounds for two hours). yesterday we sampled some old 78 vinyl crackle which is what the video below is of. its nice to just lose yourself in sounds without worrying about music for a change if that makes sense.

ok i’m getting wrinkles and michel thomas and his careful consonants are waiting… more later/ tomorrow.
