Ladytron have claimed that Christina Aguilera's latest album was "f**ked up" by her record label.

The Liverpool-based electronic group, who worked on the singer's last album Bionic, said the original version of the LP was different to the final cut, and believe the label wanted to market her against Lady GaGa.

Daniel Hunt told After LD: "The way she played the album to me was her original vision. She was on the right track but the record label f**ked up everything to be honest.

"All the good stuff got pumped into disc two. I think that if she would have done what she had in mind it would have been better. I also think that with what she had in mind she could have [sidestepped] all the kind of potential comparison with Lady GaGa which, you know, at the time it was that nightmare for her.

He added: "She would have done it in the smart way and she would have been renowned now, but her record label instead wanted to put her against [GaGa]."

But didn't Christina pay for the NMT video out of her own pocket? She wouldn't have had to do that if it was what the label wanted.

And didn't Christina say that after shooting Burlesque, she recorded NMT as an expression of what she had learned? That the song was the result of her growth as an actress/mother/human being and was personal to her? Didn't sound like she was forced into it whatsoever.

RCA is a mess. Of course Xtina is not gonna shade her her own label like Avril did. She has a too big ego for that. It would have showed to the world that she has no artistic control, and thats what Xtina didnt want. She also didnt want risk chance not to get the bonus tracks onto the album, even if they were put on disc 2. I do believe Xtina had her own vision for which was totally amazingness, see the bonus tracks which ***** on the entire record.

Part of me believes this and part of me doesn't. It still astonishes me that in the same album, there's songs like 'Elastic Love' and 'Birds of Prey' and then stuff like 'Prima Donna' and 'I Hate Boys'. And the first two match exactly what Christina has first said when describing what Bionic would be all about, while the other two... just don't. Maybe RCA wasn't 'feeling' the experimental tracks and forced her to do some more commercial ones, I don't know.

But then again, I still think that Christina has full control on her music and image, unlike most popstars, and I know she wouldn't record something she didn't like or support.

I still believe to this day that Bionic had huge potential to be critically and commercially successful. I love me some 'Woohoo' and 'Desnudate' but when there are such experimental and edgy songs on the album as well, I just know that some songs shouldn't be there with those. But it is what it is.

So let's concentrate on the future and on the legendness that Legend will bring for us in 2014.

IMO the problem was the 1st single, the main problem being the video. I like it but it was everything she had been criticizing about the Music Industry for years.
