1M US they're talking about. In the UK 1M is pretty much impossible and has only been done once. Oasis' album 'Be Here Now' sold 763,735 copies when it was released in 1997, but it was released on a Thursday, so it only had three days of sales. It would have had 1M with a full week of sales. Other than that, the highest one week sales in the UK is 518,601 (Take That's 'Progress').
