Gaga invented everything and it's embarrassing Katy tries to be just like her.

Ok, I'm just gonna say this.

Everyone copies everyone. There is NO TRULY original artist. They are all influenced by each other, BUT(!!!!!) The only difference is that Gaga ALWAYS cites her influences. Her contemporaries are CLEARLY influenced by Gaga, no doubt about that. Do not call me "delusional."

One of the major ones influenced has been Ke$ha. Katy has also been influenced by Gaga. Even Rihanna..

Just Dance influenced Tik Tok.

& ppl cannot be saying Firework or We R Who We R were written before Gaga started talking about Born This Way. Check her Monster Ball videos from last year & she mentions/talks about Born This Way/being yourself etc.

When Gaga began her Monster Ball Tour, which has a huge production, Rihanna stepped it up & made hers
bigger also.

Nicki Minaj has also been clearly influenced by Gaga. Her fashion, quirkiness etc.

And not only have the monsters taken noticed, but clearly the media has noticed as well.

I'm not saying Gaga has invented everything like some delusional fans, but it would be great if these artists & their fans would credit her as an influence. She is clearly a HUGE
influence in pop culture.

Forget the costume - I'm not convinced Katy can sing like Gaga...

I think Katy is just being herself , she likes doing fun videos and that's what this one is going to be, a fun video; Gaga gives her videos an artistic/creative side

About the Nicki Minaj thing, the fashion I'm not going to argue against or about because there were several artists who pushed boundaries even before GaGa came onto the scene that both GaGa and Nicki could've drawn inspiration from. About the quirkiness though, in what sense because Nicki has always had that personality ever since i started following her in 09 and has a much quirkier side to her than GaGa, GaGa seems so serious in public interviews these days she's changed so much to fit the image she's trying to portray.

Oh well, when I read this, FIGHTER comes to mind.

i don't understand why people can't admit this..

gaga is heavily influenced by madonna.. we all know it .
but it's stupid to deny that gaga isn't influencing her peers...
gaga took the madonna's message and concepts to a new level and the others are trying to imitate her..

Some of them know it, but they don't want to admit it.
