That being said, it doesn't change the fact that PW was a worldwide pop cultural phenomenon that the also-wonderful-but-inferior MBFW simply wasn't and isn't.

The impact was such that they even nominated Julia Roberts for a Best Actress Oscar...how often does that happen with rom coms? Certainly didn't happen with MBFW.

I like the cream of the crop from all genres.

Impact doesn't always equal quality.
