The top of next week's chart will be dominated by Sony Music with as many as seven titles in the Top 10. Chris Brown will lead the way with debuts by Jennifer Hudson, The Strokes and Kirk Franklin also on tap. Adele, this week's chart topper, could possibly remain in the Top 5. However, the spoiler to an all-Sony Top 5 could come from Universal Music as they are slated to release a compilation album tomorrow (3/25) to benefit the earthquake- and tsunami-ravaged Japan. The album will be digital only, at least for now, and will feature dozens of tracks from all the major music groups. Rihanna, Justin Bieber and possibly Lady GaGa have all contributed tracks. Where this will land on the chart won't be known until Monday morning. Overall, seven of the Top 15 may be new entries. Here's how it looks headed into the weekend:
*Chris Brown (Jive/JLG) 270-280k

nice to see it sell steady and consistently
another 25K this week and holding the numbers is amazing! I hope it can go above 1.5M in the US soon
I just wanted to say once again how grateful I am to the Navy for being so welcoming and friendly. It's been amazing so far and I have made lots of friends here on ATRL. I know I have not been on much lately but that's down to college.
The summer is coming and the LOUD tour is soon going to be starting, as well as the California King Bed era, I'm excited to share it with you guys.
'S&M,' : As it rebounds 4-3 as the Hot 100's Airplay Gainer for a second consecutive week, "S&M" marks Rihanna's 14th No. 1 on Dance/Club Play Songs, where it rises 2-1.
The coronation ties Rihanna with Beyonce for fifth place among artists with the chart's most leaders. Here is a look at the acts with the most No. 1s since Dance/Club Play Songs launched as a national survey the week of Aug. 28, 1976:
Total No. 1s, Artist
40, Madonna
19, Janet Jackson
15, Mariah Carey
15, Kristine W
14, Beyonce
14, Rihanna
omg... it doesn't look like rihanna wants her 10th #1
WTF is she preforming CKB at the AMCs...
i think she's trying to make as much money as possible before the BTW era is in full effect
And Maleik, I think the only place she could really perform S&M that would give it enough of a boost to go #1 is Idol, and they might not want her singing a song that says "Sex in the air" "chains and whips excite me" on a show watched by a variety of people including 8 year olds.
Yeah, remember that time Telephone stopped Rihanna from reigning on the Hot 100 for 5 weeks?
Telephone was very generic tho, but it's not that you can't say the same about BTW. She's lucky enough to get 6 weeks with such music all coz of her hype from her debut.
