I don't really care much about his music either way. It's not great, but there is far more offensive material piping through my radio on a regular basis.
That being said, I don't really understand the degree of hate he received from people online. It's just the same ******** that any male teen idol has to go through (which I think really has an element of misogyny in it). People act like he's the first of his kind when he's anything but. There's always been some boy that drives the teenybopper girls to inordinate levels of crazy.
Those crazy fans are annoying, but let them be 12, they'll grow out of it, and if it wasn't him, they'd just be obsessing over someone else. He strikes me as being pretty down-to-earth, all things considered.

His fans are horrible though. Can't stand them. All they do is send death threats to people who go out with Beiber or people who beat him for a Grammy award.
There should be a 'I don't really care' option. It's fun to drag him a little bit on here, but in real life I don't actually see or hear that much about him. He's not really on TV, or in the magazines I read and I never hear his music on the radio.
