Why is it that albums that don't need re-releases get them?
Teenage Dream does not need a re-release. It's easily the most successful era in the United States since
Breakaway. Its sales may not be very impressive, but it makes up for that in her digital sales, ticket sales, and radio airplay.

"Just Can't Get Enough" was performed on
American Idol, and the demographic from
American Idol, plus the hype from the release of its music video, was enough to push it into the top ten. Then, thanks to top ten exposure, everyone who uses iTuens was able to see it once they open up the iTunes Store, so it shot up lock a firework (ha ha), and went straight to number one.
Also, "E.T." is still ahead of "Just Can't Get Enough" when you combine all separate versions of both songs.
