No, actually I think Nicole was referring to how it might have been safer for her to continue in the JD/PF vein (and it does seem like the majority of the Britney stans who used to "stan" for Gaga but don't anymore want her to return to that early "Fame" image).

It's a problem certain other Album of the Year nominees will never have to worry about.

I am currently hoping that someone else would have thought to ask, and hopefully that will be among the questions that she gets to answer. I think it would be refreshing to see what she would have to say. And if she secretly does it on purpose, I'd love to see how she would respond. P.S. Relatively off topic, however, what are your thoughts about all of that?

Exactly. Gaga could have continued carefully calibrating her image to stay in the JD/PF vein that everyone loved - prettier, brighter, glam, with some kooky fashion that didn't go too far.

Britney has been the same for 13 years - the same midrift-baring, hair-tossing girl who starts all her song with some heavy oo'ing and aaah'ing that makes you wonder if she's having a drink after being parched or if she's with some guy who really knows what he's doing. I'm not holding it against her () - if it ain't broke....

While I agree, I agree very hesitantly. Redone and GaGa don't always do the same kind of thing. Just dance and Poker Face were very different tracks than Bad Romance and Alejandro. I think it's more that since GaGa only done 2 tracks that I'm aware of on Born This Way with Redone, those being, "Hair "and "Judas," I would assume that they will:

1. both ultimately be singles. [Support 1. Judas is already single 2. Support 2. GaGa has spoke on more than one interview about "Hair"].

2. Will both be smashes, and a bit different than the 4 aforementioned while still sticking to elements of them stylistically.

So, I wouldn't be entirely concerned about it. Plus, I think the fact that GaGa has apparently tried a lot of different things, there will be plenty of interest in the album itself.
