But I do think it is in par with the GGGB era. We'll have to wait how much LOUD sells in the long run, cause GGGB sold 6M+ WW. But singles-wise, yes, I consider it her most succesful era yet.
Uhm, whether its the most successful era or not isnt dependant on an opinion, that can be said objectively, there are figures and receipts... So far, we can already say that is it AT LEAST her 2nd most successful era, but to take over GGGB, we need many more singles and a re-release..
I think very few albums have been more successful than GGGB (I'd say that only The Fame exceeded its success worldwide in the last 5 years.)
But Loud is doing amazing. And I believe that if it was re-released and she released 8 singles from it like she did with GGGB, she would have 8 Top10 hits and at least 4 #1s and probably around the same album sales. 8.000.000 wordwide... 2.5M in the US and maybe even better in the UK... i'd say it an go to the 2.000.000 there
But even if the numbers matched with the GGGB era... No song will be as iconic for her as umbrella... and GGGB was definitely her breakout album.
Remember that GGGB is not only the 8.500.000 albums it sold.... its also the 35.000.000 singles it sold
