Some of these numbers surprise me. I still can't believe "Oops" is that high, while "Blackout" is remarkably considering its widespread praise among many critics as her best work.
They got two things right, Britney is an avant-gardist and she usually is ahead of the typical pop music curve. Secondly she is very adventurous musically. She almost always tries anything once. That's one thing I have loved about her she always seems ready to experiment with all different kind of musical influences.
Question: Didn't Pitchfork praise Blackout? I'm not that concerned for their review. Fatale is merely the bright-pop inversion of Blackout. It's a different extreme of a similar concept.
