If you mean the "stan wars", I think Britney stans feel threatened by Gaga, when they don't need to. It's silly to think that Britney can keep up with where Gaga is now, but Britney has still had a lot of success. Britney's stans feel the need to constantly shade Gaga because she's undoubtedly doing better than Britney at the moment, but Gaga is on her 3rd album and Britney's on her 7th. Britney's accomplished enough in her time, so why don't the stans look back on that, rather than constantly looking delusional by saying Britney is doing better out of the two and starting stan wars?
Dead @ people thinking X started this. Brit, and Stefani both love/stan for her even if she overshadows them, and they take ideas from her.
Anyways the answer's both. Brit stans don't like artists with more talent, and Stefani stans don't like how Brit can deliver without putting much effort. Both stan groups might as well stan for X, and get the best of both words upgraded. No hate.

Even Britney herself doesn't feel threatened but SHE SUPPORTS, LOVES, ACKNOWLEDGES, RESPECT AND NEVER RESPOND TO SHADES from other artists. and that is what I love her.

I think Gaga stans started to get too cocky with the immense success Gaga started to get and some even said she replaced Britney and blah blah.
