exactly, women dominate pop music because they do it better. same reason they are never on rock radio

i dont think its because they do it better i think its because they can appeal to wider audiences. Now im not trying to offend anyone but the top females right now have a lot of females that support them AND a lot of gay fans (plus straight men of course) whereas the males in the pop industry may only have a lot of girls and not so much boys. I doubt there are as many male fans (including gay men) of Usher/Justin Bieber as there are of Lady GaGa/Beyonce.

i don't know maybe you're right, but I still think it's about quality. we have justin bieber and taio cruz representing males in pop and then we have lady gaga and beyonce. it's obvious who are better and that's why they dominate

but it's ONLY pop music. there aren't many good female rock artists/bands.. I can only think of evanescence (4/5 of the band are men anyway) and skillet (same here)

Yes. But there's alot of room for women. The popular ones now will stay, and there's still room for 2 or 3 more. I see them being Jessie J, Cheryl Cole, Skylar Grey, and someone currently undiscovered by the majority. (I REALLY want Wynter Gordon to break through, though!)

Time for real male popstars. 2009/10's offers aren't cutting it!
