As others have mentioned before, doing the remix with Kanye has essentially caused it to be treated like the first single off a re-release. Having that iTunes banner is a huge promo advantage not typically afforded to regular fourth singles.
It's a smart move, good on her for it, but I'd be more impressed if the album had moved the 2 million units (like you'd expect from an album producing such consistent hits) while still seeing these kind of sales for a single so deep into the album's run.
