Lame copout. Of course we won't know definitively what BTW's final total is until we see it, but that doesn't preclude us from making reasonable speculation based on the information at hand and every week we get a better and better idea of what the final sales picture will look like. At any rate, it certainly didn't keep you from predicting that it would fail to reach the 4 million benchmark.
There has never been a song with BTW's sales trajectory that failed to reach 4 million in the end, the precedent simply isn't there. If your going to make predictions at least be prepared to substantiate them. And you certainly have devoted a lot of time and effort to discussing the silly little song with its silly little fans, but I guess I won't advise you on the best use of your own time.

IMO I don't think E.T. deserves to be #1, the song is just good, but I'm sure the video will make me love it. 
"E.T." isn't #1-worthy but it is top ten hit material and the competition isn't very strong right now.
at Katy, I remember when everybody thought the song will flop. And now it's heading for the top spot. That reminds me of that hilarious Sammi's comment:
I actually love more the remix with Kanye more than the original!
