Okay. So let me try and give you advice from a girl's perspective
First of all, I understand you completely. I'm exactly the same about love. It takes A LOT for me to even like someone as more than a friend. So I can relate. About this girl, you just need to talk to her more. Add her on facebook (if you both have one) as a start. If you're in the same school, you're bound to have tons of mutual friends. Then maybe "like" or comment a status every once in a while. it's casual but at the same time, it's letting your guard down. Then it will be easier to talk to her in person. I have a lot of friends that i've had for classes that I never really spoke to until we started talking on facebook. it's just a foolproof ice breaker. lol.
If you're not into that, then just make casual conversation with her. Even if you're too shy for conversation, just throw a comment her way or something. Something stupid like "hey, cool sweater" or something and an inevitable "Oh, thanks
" is at least a start which can make you seem more approachable to her. Believe me, girls don't just blow compliments off. most of us have low self esteem to begin with. XD We'll appreciate any compliment. lol. Also, if you're a nice/humble guy then you have an automatic lead over other jerky/arrogant/thinks he's all that and a bag of chips guys. Nice girls like nice guys.
