****, the Britney album actually sounds good
I need Judas to reaffirm my faith in the album
Ok, I'm a Britney/Gaga hybrid stan, so don't hold it against me ...
but I always thought Britney made better pop songs than Gaga. Bar Poker Face, she really hasn't beaten any of Britney's albums in terms of the better pop songs, maybe except Britney. Basically what I'm trying to say is that Britney will more than likely have the better pop songs, but Gaga overall will have the better album, and you'll be able to ***** her songs a lot more than pure pop songs.
I have no doubt that Glee is still happening, but it does seem weird that we haven't heard a peep about the stripped-down version aside from that interview with Gayle. Is it possible that they were still just in talks to do it at that point? Or maybe it's something they were planning on doing further down the line, but that doesn't make much sense if they're looking to maximize the amount of money they can raise.

I hope it was true. I'll be annoyed if it wasn't. I do think something should be said about it. I can't see her making the whole charity announcement without it being definite, though...

I do not follow. I don't like it when people use "pop songs" as code for "trashy but catchy material to which I'd like to dance a drunken fool."

It's not that bad, it's more of she has the better pure pop songs, the ones that are very popular and safe. Gaga will have the better overall album with dance pop songs, the ones that are also very popular, but are not as safe as Britney's singles

The songs are fun (esp the one with the whistle beat) but they're so robotic/computerized; it doesn't feel like there's a living, breathing person on the other end. And they're not as catchy as TTWE, which I thought would demolish iTunes records left and right.

It def. shows off Dr Lukes+The producers talents more than Britneys but it works with Britney. No ones listening to Britney to be slayed by vocals, but the one midtempo on the album that was in the 12 megamix thing sounded promising.

I was in the same boat as you with TTWE. The fact that Britney, with her supposedly large stanbase (I question it now) is behind J.Lo, who is coming off of a flop, says something.
It is very robotic and computerized, but hey, it worked for Ke$ha, so why not?

Im not here for more then 2 fillers on BTW
I'm not here for fillers
The Fame had a little too many fillers. TFM was perfect, filler-free. I'm here for another filler-free album
