Last poll for awhile, I'm sorry! I just heard Holiday on the radio and I love it.

I couldn't help but notice the similarities between the two songs - they're both about getting up and going somewhere (on a Holiday or an Escapade) and they were both pop smashes.

Madonna - Holiday

I honestly could never get into madonna or any of her songs. Well, besides DWRY.

Escapade wins hands down.

Never really cared for Holiday.

I voted for Madonna because I *****d the Rhythm Nation album last week and I'm whoring the Madonna album this week.

So I just can't @ these Janet vs. Madge polls. They are so hard.

But I guess that overall I like Escapade more than Holiday but I'm not that sure.

It's one of the only 4 songs of hers I can get into.

I can't at yall pitting Madonna's weaker efforts against Janet's strongest records.
Obviously a song that went #1 is gonna do better in a poll on a pop music forum than one that peaked at #16.

I'm not pitting Janet's stronger records against Madonna's weaker efforts. Don't you see the remote thematic similarity between Escapade and Holiday? The "let's get away somewhere, just you and I"?

And Escapade went to #17 in the UK and Holiday went to #2, so I think it balances out the US chart positions quite nicely.

So if you're going to come in here, roll your eyes, and say something as irrelevant and uncalled for as
"madonna>>>", you might as well just not come here at all!

I love "Escapade" a lot but "Holiday" has stood the test of time better, especially considering it was fairly anonymous upon release.

I don't even adore "Escapade." I think it's the weakest Rhythm Nation single. "Holiday" is still amazing and fun.

I love both, but I have to go with "Holiday."
