So, Lady Gaga is a saint, yeah? And she wanted to pair up only with Target JUST to change their political positions. That's the ONLY reason why Gaga wanted to partner with Target, because she's THAT good of a person. Out of the kindness of her heart, she wanted to try to liberate Target. She wanted nothing in return. Do you understand where I'm coming from?
I'm not saying Gaga is a bad person, my point is, there's always a gain. Gaga sales would have been her gain.. and bottom line... that's why she went with Target. Now, apparently they had some kind of deal that they were going to work out a new image for Target, which, in itself, is ridiculous to think that a multi-billion dollar company would change their ideals for a pop star. Target decided not to, well, because, Target and its shareholders could really give a **** about Gaga or her ideals. And THEN Gaga decided to "back out."
Stop the nonsense and be real.
Realize that in the world of business, there is always a
motive behind every action... including Lady Gaga's.
That's all.

Where'd ya get that gif Vin?
You're totally right. But you're making a really simple subject unnecessarily complex. The music industry is a business. Of course Gaga (and her label) want an album that lives up to its full potential.
She thought it could work, but she was wrong. And, yes, I'm sure Target couldn't give two *****.
You're always stirring things up.
