Its happened to me too.... but were usually too drunk to do anything else. And the gay clubs here are full of straight boys now, so its alot harder to meet people there now adays.

Don't they have their own damn clubs to go too.

What the hell?

Here, there are 3 huge gay clubs. It's about 80% boys - 20% girls in each of them. And from the boys, I'd say about 90% are gay...but there are more and more girls coming with their friends.

The best gay club got shut down last year... (city wants to keep building high rise condos) and now the biggest one holds "straight nights" too. They also play ****** music sometimes too. (they played Justin Bieber once.... and I left. I ain't dancing all drunk to a 16 year old boys music.)

I never ever heard Justin Bieber in a club..

My all-time record was 7 lady gaga songs in the same night (on 2 different floor though). They are really crazy for her, I don't even have to request it

And this will never happen in Montreal, there is at least 30 non-gay nightclubs (on a specific street, there's a club at each 100 meters seriously ), 3 huge gay clubs, and smaller ones. I haven't done them all yet, but I went to most of them! The nightlife is really great here

I've only heard Bad Romance / Telephone & Monster in a club.

We have a street of regular clubs, and then one for gay bars / clubs. The most popular gay club is Celebrities, and its kind of lame. Vancouver also doesn't really know how to party.... they're too busy getting high. Their all lightweights and get drunk after three drinks, and alcohol is so damn strict.

I miss Alberta, where the liquor stores were open till 2am, they don't care if you drink on the street, drinking age is 18, and the parties were CRAZY. (Though they had a lack of gay bars in Calgary.)

Drinking age is 18 here, I thought it was like that in all Canada??

And we often drink in the street before hitting the club, that's always so fun

It's 19 in BC. (And Saskachetwan, and Ontario) Vancouver police will arrest you on the spot if your caught with booze on the street, liquor stores close at 11pm (closed all day on sundays) its heavily restricted here. We like to call this "No-Funcouver"
