I secretly don't want some of my favorite artists (Sky Ferreira and The Pretty Reckless, for example) to get famous, ever. It sounds extremely selfish, but the radio stations and general public have a bad habit of making me hate amazing artists by overplaying their music.

Also I'm gonna need for Kanye to be on the majority of his next album. The instrumental breaks and all-star guest features are nice, but when you're only on 1/4 of your own album, something is wrong.

Just Dance has become one of my favourite songs off the Fame, even though I wasn't fond of it when it first came out. It's a fun party song. Though I could do without the Colby part.

I need her to make Breakout 2.0. And I need my Jonas Brothers back. A Little Bit Longer slayed my soul

It's not even overplaying, but I feel like their labels would totally make them sell out. I don't want Janelle to be famous, either. Unless her label avoids making her sell out. Diddy would though

When I was a Gaga stan and she was just starting to get famous, I would tell people the rumor about her being a hermaphrodite was true, only because I wanted her to be huge and I knew some of my friends would only get into her if they believed some crazy rumor. The funniest part is, those friends of mine that believed it back then are huge Gaga stans now.

I thought Circus was a terrible Album (with the exception of Womanizer and Kill the Lights).

I was in my early 20s when those albums came out, but Disney ****ing slayed my soul then. They've fallen off big time, though. I mean Demi, Selena, Miley, and the JB Brothers all had amazing albums until 2010.
Demi's albums were both pretty good, Selena's had a few amazing songs, and Miley brought everything I needed and more to the table with Breakout, and Can't Be Tamed was an okay album.
The Jonas Brothers:
ALBL>>>LVATT>>>JB>>>That first album.
|
I think LV&TT is Jonases best album. Both Demi's albums are amazing, i liked Don't forget better tho. I like some Selena songs, and she0s cute and all but i just don't think she's on Miley's level, or Demi's level at that.
As of Miley's album Breakout and Time of our lives remain my favourites. Although i also love MMC and CBT.

What is "risky" is irrelevant to this conversation since that's a subjective matter and what is "risky" to you (probably something that would be a mess ), a music consumer with NO experience in the business and NO say so that comes from personal knowledge, might not be what is "risky" to someone like Beyonce, who has years and years of personal experience and knowledge in the works of music. #Sit

Vague sentences like this will not work. If you would like to continue, come back with SPECIFIC examples of something FRESH for the entire industry on IASF, because I can guarantee you that there are none.
And what are you on? RISKY is the entire topic that we are discussing; you really are dense. The original point is that Beyoncé has done absolutely nothing risky and the original point still stands. You will stay typing your ambiguous and poorly constructed responses. You evidently do not have the capacity to sustain an argument.

Exactly! That's what ruined Nicki Minaj for me. She was so, I don't know, explicit before she got famous, and I ****ing loved that. She had an edge to her, she said things that shocked alot of people and her music was so crazy and explicit, and just amazing. But I felt like, after she went mainstream around this time last year, it ruined her for me. That happens to alot of people. I love them when they're unknown, but once they blow up, it feels like their label is telling them what to sing and say, how to dress, etc. And I hate that.

that gif of britney that ppl keep using where she is on a couch is probably more unflattering than her *** shots when she had the scar from her caesarean section ...but it's appropriate in most cases.
I also hate that rih isnt doing promo stateside
