First super-hyping the HIAM video to some extreme level that was more negative than good to it. People would have liked the video if it had not been so hyped.

Tons of people loved the video including me.
But I agree they shouldn't have hyped her dancing as if it was the second coming because at first sight I only concentrated on this and not the artistic value of the whole thing (the rise & fall, the eyeless people, the fight, the paint scene, the mood...).

And now, they release this single with NO PROMO at all (sorry but the Britney's twitter account that her manager always use to announce all the news is really a poor promo) in such a weird way on a friday. It could have been her 4th debut #1 right? Won't happen I guess. The song has really a lot of potential.
When I saw that it was on itunes yesterday (thanks to this forum otherwise no way I would have known) I just couldn't believe it. I'm sure the song will sell a lot and maybe be #1 later. Anyways, I just don't understand how they work

I don't know... Maybe they leaked it on purpose and that 3rd debut at #1 isn't a priority.
Or it wasn't suppose to leak and they just went with the flow to not hurt the song's success.
