If you had taken the time to revisit the original post, you would have seen that I was referring to popstars in general. It's great that Beyoncé donated the money a while back. I had said that pop stars should not perform for or accept money from persons involved with regimes that violate human rights and do nothing but harm their 'subjects' as it were. If Beyoncé knew prior that a Gaddafi was arranging the performance, she should have cancelled. If not, perhaps it's a lesson that it's somewhat important to know the details of your performances.

People must realise there are different POVs and values. I don't share yours. The key is keeping it legal.
You see this confusion when it comes to judging criminals. When there is a jury, it tends to wornder if the criminal had good reasons to act this way (moral approach). But the jurist always concentrate on determine if the legal elements are there or not (legal approach). This is exactly what is happening there.

Beyonce has always given a lot to charity and never made a huge deal about it and has never talked about it publicly.I am pleased with Beyonce for doing this, and she donated the money a whole year ago showing that she didn't donate it because she got found out. Also, she donated the money when she found out it had ties to Gaddafi which shows that she has morals and is still a very respectable role model.god bless her heart Beyonce is classy kind hearted that is why she is loved by god and we her fans.

How do you not know that she was going to not donate the money from that specific performance anyway? How do you know she didn't hesistate to do it but only did it intentionally for the haiti fund raiser.

2. Beyonce gains way more money than THIS a year so she did NOT need this money nor want it for herself clearly. She wanted to give quietly and she did. But since you all and the media are so quickly to come up out of the mouth claiming she's this and that she basically only had to say a few words to have your wigs snatched, "I donated last year to the haiti fund".
