Ya'll, the show is about RATINGS. We all know how homophobic the US is, so I'm not surprised or angry they cut the kiss. Showing the kiss wouldn't make people any less homophobic, it would just make them shut their TVs off.
It's not hypocritical, cause they don't know the speeches beforehand. How could they know? Brolin's and Bardem's kiss was obviously written and ABC knew... so they decided to cut it. It's just homophobe.
It's not just America that needs to step forward, but other places as well. This is so backwards I know ABC has an image to project, and that is family...which is "heteronormality" (rollseyes)...but it is still heartwrenching
