It's been another 10 day or so since then and it's still #1.
Either some people are liking it, or she has become some sort of God-like icon of this generation (and possibly the next) who can just keep selling **** for weeks on her name alone.

There's no way she'd still be #1 on iTunes just because of her name and the hype if people really thought it was that bad. It doesn't make sense. I'm sure it shot right up because of her name and the hype, but it surely would have at least fallen down now if it only climbed to #1 because of the hype.
The fact that people seem to either love or hate it, still is a veeery good sign. People will learn to deal.
