I'll never for the life of me understand the critics who want her to be so mundane.

THISSSS...I was thinking of a way to phrase this and you did it perfectly. She has always had a certain meta-pop star thing going on. She is obviously insanely famous and big at this point, but she is still poking fun at the whole thing. I think she is dead serious about delivering her messages (whether they be serious like the LGBT issue, or whether it is just as an image of an over-the-top fashionista)...but that doesn't mean she takes her presentations 100% serious (am i speaking in circles? lol!)

She is a hard worker and makes sure that her exact vision is perfect...that doesn't always mean that she thinks she is having some profound impact. It just makes her a perfectionist. This video represents exactly what she has been talking about since the Grammys. Regardless of how you take the video and what it all means...she is certainly following through.

Exactly. One of GaGa's things have always been that at the core of everything, is her insanely catchy and great pop songs. But she has been adamant about presenting something more than the other pop tarts do with similar songs (no shade!). So no sometimes the video doesn't translate exactly...but it is usually an interesting take and is always visually stunning. If there were 10 GaGas around it would be get real old...but it is a refreshing comparison to the other girls.
