CKB would SMASH.

We all know this.

CKB is the best choice and here's why. Ballads do extremely well, especially when there is only a few of them out charting due to the heavy dance-craze uptempo majority. Ballads get picked up by most formats relatively easily. Look at Firework and JTWYA. Huge airplay monsters.

And from the looks of it, none of the girls are lined up to release a ballad. Britney does mostly uptempos, same with Ke$ha. Katy Perry just released ET, and it's rumored LFN is next. From what I've read, I think GaGa's 2nd single is supposed to be a dark, dance track. J.Lo doesn't really do ballads. I'm pretty sure Pink is done, and Avril isn't fairing too well. Even if Beyonce comes out with a single in the next 2 months, odds are it's an uptempo. Those songs will all compete with each other, while CKB will have an easier time thriving.

The only reason why I hope it isn't CKB is because I don't think it's that strong... I loved Russian Roulette and I love Skin, but I don't know about CKB.

California King Bed.

There's a difference between a "strong" amazing song and one with single potential.

Russian Roulette is hands down amazing, epic, masterpiece of a song. However, it's single potential lacked because it's not what people were wanting from Rihanna at the time.

Skin has absolutely no chance of being a single right now (or at all). She cannot go from S&M to Skin. It'll be too much right after another. The whole point of singles is to showcase what the album offers. Skin is too much in the same vein of S&M in the sense that they are both songs relying heavily on the topic of sex.

CKB has everything. Catchy lyrics, smooth instrumentals, powerful vocals, and an easy, relatable topic.
